These guys are not open Sunday just to let you know. But it's family own an ran,which is why this is a delicious home cooked so Spanish taste. It's so real an amazing there the best you'll find around for sure.

Yum! Authentic PR food. I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. Steak or chicken, red beans and yellow rice always smack and the chicken cracklings are delicious. Definitely put Lorain on the map.

One of the best places to get a home cooked meal that's hot and delicious. The owner is awesome and treats everybody like family that walks through them doors. Don't be scared to treat yourself to something new and I promise you that you will not be disappointed if you go around lunch time when things are fresh and hot. One of my favorite local spots to get enough food for your buck for the family. I recommend this place for everybody to try.

Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. The food is phenomenal!! Only differences I wish was that a credit card could be used and that it was back to having more meat in the pastelijos... even if you had to charge a little more.

Very very very disappointed.... My rice was very dry, bland, and hard!!!! Also my beef stew was tougher than sandpaper and that was also bland. I dont like that it's a hit and miss with this place, apparently it depends on who's cooking that day. I often go here and it seems more and more lately it's just getting worse and worse. I refuse to waste any more money, or my time standing outside. No wonder the woman was very quick to close my to go box. I definately could have looked at the rice and told her I didn't want it had she not closed it so fast! From now on I'll just pay a friend to cook for me so I don't have to wonder if my food is going to be good or not! Shame shame shame something told me not to tip today and I'm very glad I listened to my instincts! Well Elkafon you guys lost one loyal customer!!! Step your game up!

Being in ohio for 2 months hands down this is the best place for puertorican food!! Not expensive what so ever!! Ever want Rican food go here!

I will make my review short. Sadly, it was my first time visiting today but I will never go back. Upon arrival, I mentioned that it was my first visit & the lady did not warn me I was obligated to pay CASH ONLY. Once I dug into my plate of yuca & chuletas, I was disappointed to find that not only was the meat like rubber & the yuca super cold but there was barely any flavor to the food. They didn't season things well. To make matters worse, the lady serving us kept coughing & sneezing onto her hands instead of into her elbow area. I was very angry to have to pay nearly $50 for four people when I could've spent just $30-$35 elsewhere for something much more enjoyable. Well, lesson LEARNED! Sadly, won't be going back there ever again.

The food was really good and prices were great as well. Live in cleveland but this place is worth the drive.

We were in the area and figured that we would try it. It's considered a "Take out" place and I didn't realize that there was a place to eat here. There were about 5 tables to sit at. I was a little intimidated to order because there were a bunch of options, but I didn't see a menu. The people who worked there were very helpful and told me about the food.I ordered Steak with Rice and Beans. It was so stinkin' delicious. The amount of food was overflowing out of the container. It was enough for 2 meals.So good! It makes me sad that live 40 minutes away from El Kefón.
